Our commitment
Menty is committed to making our website and services accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state accessibility laws.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML with clear headings and landmark regions so assistive technology can navigate the pages.
- A "skip to main content" link and keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and dialogs.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Text labels associated with form fields, and accessible names on icon-only buttons.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and avatars.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting, so animations are minimized when you ask your device for less motion.
- Attention to color contrast and touch-target size.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We test as we build and fix issues as we find them. We do not rely on third-party accessibility "overlay" widgets, which can interfere with assistive technology; instead we build accessibility into the product itself. Some areas may not yet be fully conformant, and we welcome your feedback to help us prioritize.
